Vegetable Seeds
Coriander leaves have traces of Vitamin C, K and protein & is a great source of dietary fiber, iron, manganese and magnesium.
Nutritive value : Contains small amounts of calcium, phosphorus, niacin, potassium and thiamine.

02 | Sowing Techniques: Sow the seeds directly in raised beds in the backyard or in a shallow container with a minimum depth of 5 inches & bigger spread area like trays or crates with uniform drainage holes at the bottom. Fill the container with 2 part of garden soil & 1 part of organic manure (FYM)/1 part coco peat & 1 part of vermicompost |
03 | Break the coriander seeds to split them with your hand by rubbing them between your palms & sprinkle the seeds evenly throughout the surface & take some soil in hand & sprinkle over the container/seedbed to cover the seeds. |
04 | Water the sown seed bed/container immediately by a light shower with sprinkling water can and in outdoor raised beds, protects them from heavy rain or direct sunlight by making a temporary roof with plastic sheet for a few days. |
04 | Thinning can be done if more than one seed has germinated per hole, cut off the smaller seedlings by keeping one seedling per hole. Baby coriander plants will be visible in 10-15 days and mature leaves will be ready to harvest in 30 days. |

01 | Coriander requires partial sunlight (3-4 hours) in summer and it can withstand full sunlight in winters. So place your containers accordingly in your backyard. |

02 | Regularly water your Coriander container / raised bed every day in the form of a light shower with a sprinklers watering can. |
03 | Always look for the early signs of any insect/fungal infections/any other infections on growing plants. Spray appropriate medicines as soon as any symptoms of any such diseases are spotted. |
04 | Ready to Harvest in about 30 days after sowing, Coriander can be harvested by cutting the mature leaves using a scissor and leaving the tender growing base of the plant for the next harvest. This way you can harvest for 4-5 times in intervals of 25-30 days. |
05 | If you plan to grow Microgreens coriander, grow it indoors in flat containers. Sow-scatter the seeds in a crowded manner and can harvest it in 10-15 days by uprooting the baby plants. |
